Key Peninsula group "Save Our Shoreline" formed to stop this operation.

Seattle Shellfish Manilla Clam Operation
Ceased after Health Department shut down because McCormick Creek pollution. Shellfish company left nets, rebar, ropes which drifted to neighboring beaches and cause erosion and shift of McCormick Creek.

3. AA11-03, AA13-03, AA14-03, AA15-03
Washington Shellfish Appeal - Pierce County filed suit to require shellfish company to obtain permit. PVC, rebar, ropes and nets are washing up on neighboring beaches and have been seen at the bottom of Henderson Bay by divers.
